SVG Editor
After author scales text while leaving the cursor in the text box and then immediately saves, SVG Editor no longer responds to mouse clicks.
What to do: Return to SVG graphic. Click inside textbox and then click outside of textbox to remove the cursor from the textbox. Save and close.
Restart LodeStar only if first solution does not work and if more SVG editing is needed.
How to Prevent: Do not leave the cursor inside a text box before exiting the editor.
Menu Items and Buttons no longer responsive
After author exits SVG Editor, menus and buttons stop responding.
What to do: Return to SVG graphic. Click in last edited graphic. Click on SVG canvas (white space) to de-select.
Restart LodeStar only if first solution does not work.
Project Names
Creating a very long project name, especially with hyphens and spaces, breaks a project’s path to image resources.
What to do: Rename project folder in Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder with shorter simpler name. Re-import images.
How to Prevent: Keep your project names short without special characters.
